:LAWRENCEVILLE — Today Sen. David Shafer (R-Duluth) joined with other members of the Gwinnett County Legislative Delegation in supporting Gwinnett Medical Center’s application for a certificate of need to offer open heart surgery. Gwinnett’s application is opposed by Emory University Hospital.
